2. Do I qualify for Elecycle free Pickup service?
Any combination of 25 COMPUTERS, LAPTOPS, SERVERS, TABLETS, OR SMARTPHONES will qualify your organization for our FREE PICK UP AND CERTIFIED DISPOSAL PROGRAM. Contact an ELECYCLE specialist for more details on our FREE service.
3. What type of equipment does Elecycle accept?
ELEYCLE was founded on the principle that if you make it easy for people to do the right thing with their retired electronics, they will. This is demonstrated through our policy of accepting all types of electronic equipment, in any condition. We like to say “ANYTHING WITH A PLUG IN ANY CONDITION”.
4. Will any of our Equipment be donated?
ELECYLE maintains a regular and consistent donation program to help provide vital access to technology for those in need. We work with schools, NPO’S, and individuals in need. 5. What documentation do I receive after Equipment is removed? Start with the Please at the end of the paragraph
Depending on which ELECYCLE Program you have chosen, there are different types of reporting that we provide to specific customers based on specific their requests. However, as part of our SOP, every client will receive a BOL on site with a UNIQUE JOB ID #, a COD and a COR linked to that pick-up by that unique JOB ID #. 8. What happens to my harddrives?
DATA SECURITY and the proper and compliant handling of all data bearing devices is the the top priority of ELECYCLE. We have invested significant amounts of time, resources, and manpower in the development of a state of the art data security system, where the main objective is to allow our clients to rest easy knowing ELECYCLE is committed to ensuring that all potentially sensitive data is wiped and/or destroyed in accordance with top industry standards and all local, state, and federal guidelines surrounding data security. 9. What happens with the equipment that cannot be redistributed or reused?
The best form of recycling equipment is reusing the equipment, or as we call it Elecycling. If equipment is past the point of recovery or reuse, ELECYCLE maintains an R2 certification, which ensures that all equipment that is deemed scrap, is processed by a thoroughly vetted and certified downstream vendors whose environmental practices and policies are in line with our company's core philosophies as well as those of the R2 governing body.
